A survey by the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development showed 86% of employers had observed 'employees coming into work ill'. But record high levels of "Presenteeism" is actually costing business in lost productivity.
Nottinghams Business School estimates a cost to companies of more than £4,000 a worker, after finding the average worker spent almost 2 weeks at work while ill last year.
